We are pleased to introduce Dr. Jessica Koster, who joins our team with outstanding training, clinical expertise, and a strong commitment to periodontal health and surgical excellence.

Dr. Koster earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in business from the University of Dallas, graduating summa cum laude while competing in collegiate volleyball and lacrosse. During her undergraduate years, she worked as a dental assistant, further solidifying her passion for dentistry. She then attended Texas A&M College of Dentistry, graduating at the top of her class while cultivating a strong focus on periodontics and advanced surgical techniques.

Following dental school, Dr. Koster pursued specialty training in periodontics at the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. Under the mentorship of leading experts in the field, she gained extensive experience in soft and hard tissue grafting, sinus augmentation, regenerative procedures, immediate implant placement, full-mouth rehabilitation, and moderate conscious sedation. In addition to her clinical training, she conducted research in post-operative anesthesia and pain management, earning a Master of Science in Dentistry and Periodontics.

During her residency, Dr. Koster was introduced to Dr. Thousand and his team through a mutual faculty member. After visiting the practice in 2024, she was drawn to the team’s patient-centered approach and commitment to excellence. She is thrilled to officially join DSNF and looks forward to providing compassionate, high-quality periodontal care to patients in Saint Augustine, Palm Coast, and Nocatee.

Dedicated to delivering the best possible outcomes for her patients, Dr. Koster prioritizes education, communication, and long-term oral health. She remains committed to staying at the forefront of periodontics through continuing education and the integration of cutting-edge technology. She is currently in the process of obtaining board certification.

Outside of the office, Dr. Koster enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and taking advantage of all the outdoor activities that come with a coastal lifestyle.
